Habits & Habitats Area:

Primates are very smart and intelligent. Can learn many
skills. Eyes to see what is around them, hands & fingers for the grip to
swing around, to climb tree's & rocks, to find the food to eat. |

A diet of which includes a variety of eating fruits, grass, seeds,
leaves, plants, insects, & sometimes eat meat. |
 |
To live in the tree's, on the ground, cliffs, large hills &
valleys, forest's, mountains, savannas or plains. |
 |
Some to live in Troops with a dominant male to show his rank
who is very strong and responsible for managing the discipline that is so
important for the troops survival and some troops are very large and small. |
 |
Baboons use grunts, barks, screams. Even yawns, lip
smacking, shoulder shrugging. |
 | When another Gorilla or Baboon enters the troop, there is
a challenge with the dominant male. Where you are accepted in or get hurt
& run off or even take over as the leader. |
 | Some of the Primates are considered sacred in certain
countries, such as Egypt and India. And play a role in some religions around
the world. |
 | There are many kinds of species of Primates around the
world. |
Glossary:

habitat: a place for the animals to live and grow up.

nests: a kind of home for a Mountain Gorilla such as vines
and branches.

troop: a family, such as Gorillas and Baboons.
